- this may be my first time drawing on a vertical surface
- it feels a little awkward, even with my good hand without the support afforded by a horizontal surface
- but being able to just step back and see the whole thing from a distance is great – I may have to get an easel – one that can accommodate A1 size paper
- also possibly the first time I’ve drawn on such a large surface
- I feel the slow phase of the exercise could have been slower- I wasn’t always considering and planning my mark-making
- the finished picture reminds me of amoeba on a microscope slide, which is an odd image to end up with from a starting point of the quick phase image
