People in Places.
The place – Felixstowe promenade and beach. The people – dog walkers (mostly). These are iPad/Adobe Fresco creations.
Below is a not entirely successful development of one of the above. I had been looking at Hurvin Anderson and his use of flat pattern. I include it here because it tells a story; a very short story – lazy dog refuses to budge and owner threatens to leave him on the beach.

Or maybe there is a slightly longer story.
This mini-drama plays out every morning.
The dog is old.
His joints ache and the shingle digs into his pads.
Even with his little jacket on, the wind gets into his fur.
It is bitterly cold.
His owner is worried about his weight.
That is why she drags him out every day.
And every day he plonks himself down in the sand in stubborn protest.
And every day she threatens to leave him there.
But she never does.
And he always gets up eventually.
